I'm here to help you as the manager of your property to fulfil your legal responsibility in keeping your customers and staff safe.  Electricity can kill.  PAT Testing (Portable Appliance Testing) helps identify whether there are real or potential problems in your portable electrical appliances (ie the ones that have a plug).      

My aim is to provide a very high quality PAT Testing service to small businesses in the Northern Lake District (especially around the Penrith and Ullswater area), to check all items properly.  It's not about ticking boxes or getting a green sticker....it's about checking that your appliances are genuinely safe for others to use.  See pictures on the Gallery page for some examples of what I have found lurking under the surface of plugs and equipment if they are not tested properly (eg by not taking the plug off to have a look).   

I am fully qualified (City and Guilds).  I do the job properly and professionally (no cutting corners as we're dealing with your and your customers' safety!).  I have some of the most advanced equipment in the PAT Testing world which means that you get very high quality and detailed .pdf reports (including photos of all your items), and a Certificate of Testing, which should more than satisfy your guests, customers, insurers, fire-risk assessments, etc.  All labels are bar-coded too for easy reference in following years.
